Many of you may know me through my three decades on many sides of the international fragrance industry, from Indie to Industry, perfumery creation or natural raw materials. What you probably don’t know is that during these same three decades I have followed an inner muse. This guidance brought me from the west coast to NYC, led me out of my first career in architecture and into the heart of the fragrance industry, guided me to find my first yoga teacher, inspired me to create an indie perfumery collection and ultimately propelled me to launch a natural ingredients company.

 

All the while, piquing my curiosity to explore all things mystical and metaphysical. It was rarely clear, always took a leap of faith, and only in retrospect, was perfectly planned.

 

Which brings us here, now, to Creative Intuitive Perfumery.

 

 

Still curious…here is the Bio story that brought me here:

 

As the stars would have it, my paternal grandfather was a Sunkist Citrus distributor. My entire childhood, I was exposed to fresh crates of lemons, oranges and grapefruit since the time I was born, growing up in Santa Barbara, CA. To this day, Citrus is my favorite olfactive family.

 

As a profession, I’ve been intimately involved with Scent and Perfumery for over 30 years.

 

From my years based in New York City, deep within the international fragrance Industry, to my return to the west coast, the birthplace of the Indie & Niche Perfumery movement, my passion and love for perfumery spans Indie to Industry™.
 

Over the course of a 30+ year career starting in 1991, I’ve been blessed to have worked behind the scenes at global fragrance houses, be mentored by world class perfumers, develop fragrances for international beauty brands and celebrities, delve into natural perfumery and be exposed to the sourcing of botanicals from around the world. I’ve worked most notably for fragrance houses International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), and The Robertet Group, a 5th generation family owned French natural raw materials & fragrance supplier.

 

Feeling the pull to teach, I designed ‘The Art & Poetry of Perfumery’ and ‘A Journey through the Genealogy of Scent’,  both scent trainings for aspiring noses and seasoned professionals alike, as a way to inspire and share the knowledge I’ve been given.

 

In 2010, I took a leap and formulated  40notes Perfume™  into what turned out to be a very Indie, limited edition, award-winning luxury niche perfume collection!

 

My passion for natural materials brought me back into the industry again, and during this time I became inspired to create  Palette Naturals®, a line of 100% botanical blending accords, which launched in 2017. Happily, the accords now ship around the world and are dedicated to bringing natural perfumery and transparency to the worlds of scent & beauty.

 

After relocating to Tucson, AZ. in 2021, I serendipitously met my Tarot teacher. While studying with her over the course of a year, the inspiration to combine custom perfumery with intuitive readings arrived!

 

Now, in true full-circle fashion, my love of Perfumery and gift of Intuition now serve to connect me with others looking to bring insight, guidance and beauty back into their lives, through a scent that resonates with their Soul.
